The days can be long this time of year. In fact the longest day of the year was this past Sunday, and we decided to participate in the Alzheimer's Association's Longest Day Event by riding our bikes. It was warm, but we had a great time doing an urban ride around one of the fastest growing cities in the country.
Some of our team was sidelined by travel and illness, but we had a tight little group of folks come out and had a great ride. Many thanks to Kenn, Randy, Jamie, Reeves, Jim and Harris (he got the late afternoon solo ride in the 100 degree heat index - ouch).
It was all for a great cause - Alzheimer's awareness and fund raising.
Next year, we will get things rolling a bit earlier, and we hope to see you there!
