Knuckle Desk (No. 26) with Carnegie Rail

$9,950.00

Jointed rail typically came in 33 or 39-foot sections with large bars that clamped either side of the rail in place creating what is known as the knuckle.

The Knuckle Desk holds a revered spot among our line of high-end commercial and residential office furnishings. In special instances cut the knuckles out when we harvest the rails allowing us to make one of our more popular, but also more rare pieces. Whether it's an executive office or an urban loft, the Knuckle Desk is certain to be the start to many a conversation.

Fashioned from two sections of steel rail fastened together with a joint bar that proudly reads CARNEGIE 98 on it, this one is a stunning preservation of the history of the Industrial Age at its finest. The 360degree view of the trackwork suspended at a perfect level for viewing makes the Knuckle Desk the starting point of the conversation before getting down to business.
