Scrapyard TaBench (Spike Legs) - dark

Current stock: 0

Equal parts table and bench is the TaBench, a versatile piece of furniture that can serve as seating or a coffee table.

The smoothy sanded face of the timber possesses beautifully patterned woodgrain on the surface of the seat/table.

Cast aside as scrap, a collection of reclaimed vintage railroad spikes polished to a rich patina are carefully assembled in the stour legs. Rich in history and long in service of the railroad, we have reconditioned them to preserve their natural wear.

The notched circular pieces in the timbers are dome head drive spikes traditionally used in the field to build timbered crossings. In the Scrapyard Tabench, they provide the structure connecting the two timbers and the legs.
