Scrapyard TaBench (Spike Legs)

Current stock: 0

Table + Bench = TaBench, a uniquely versatile piece of furniture that functions as seating or as a coffee table.

The sculpted steel legs are fashioned from reclaimed railroad spikes with a rich dark patina resulting from decades of weathering in the natural elements - all welded together in an abstract style.

The solid wood top is crafted from a single cross tie timber with a smoothly planed top revealing the natural grain while retaining the hallmark distress of a railroad timber.

It's 18-inch height, and solid structure give it great adaptability as well as a strong sense of industrial style with a modern twist.

On occasion, we may have these in stock, but in general, these pieces are part of our custom line available by order only.

The five notched circular piece in the timbers are dome head drive spikes with a threaded shaft. These spikes are used in the field to build timbered crossings. In the Scrapyard Tabench, they provide the structure connecting the two timbers and the legs.
