Double Track Coffee Table (No. 48)

Industrial style meets live edge with the naturally preserved oak timber combined with steel railroad steel for legs.

Hand crafted and sculpted from a distressed crosstie timber, the wood is creosote free. We use "culls" or imperfect timbers removed from the treatment process at the tie plant in order to create sustainably sourced furniture like this Double Track Coffee Table from our collection.

We call it the Double Track after sections of railroad that offer two lines parallel to one another. Found in urban and rural areas alike, the practice of double tracks allows trains to pass along side of one another in opposite direction or allows increased traffic in a single direction.

The heavy distress in the wood timber and the steel rails attests to the long service life and harsh conditions of the raw materials we use.

For the home, this piece goes well in the den or great room. In the office, it brings a bit of industrial style to any lobby.
