A derailment is measured in seconds, but remembered for decades. It's the moment order gives way to chaos. Steel leaves its intended path. Timber splinters. Stone scatters. Everything changes.
We saw something else.
Not failure. Composition.
This table captures that impossible moment when structure breaks apart and somehow becomes more compelling than when it was whole. Authentic railroad steel, reclaimed timber, and granite ballast appear frozen beneath glass, each element carefully arranged to look as though it came to rest on its own.
It didn't.
Every angle was considered. Every piece placed with intention. The disorder is deliberate.
Because history isn't always found in perfection. Sometimes it's found in the moment everything went sideways.
