Description
Every decision has a moment.
A point where paths cross.
Where one direction becomes another.
On the railroad, that moment is called a frog.
The frog is the muscular heart of a turnout—the place where steel converges, diverges, and commits. An unmistakable X of hardened rail, one leg longer than the other, guiding locomotives from the main line to the spur, from momentum to intention. It’s where movement changes course.
We brought that moment into the boardroom.
At the center of our Frog Conference Table rests an authentic railroad frog—industrial sculpture forged for impact, preserved beneath thick glass. Two long sections of salvaged oak boxcar flooring frame it with quiet authority. Whiskey-finished. Creosote-free. Honest.
This isn’t decorative. It’s symbolic.
Around this table, direction is determined. Strategy shifts tracks. Deals move from discussion to decision. There is no more fitting foundation than the very mechanism that once redirected the weight of a moving train.
Sourcing frogs of this scale and integrity is no small task. They were built to endure punishment, not retirement. The right examples surface rarely—and when they do, they don’t wait around.
If this one speaks to you, listen carefully.
