We invited ICHABOD to recreate his iconic ICH moniker and skull with the raised single finger on an authentic section of CSX Transportation boxcar steel—salvaged from a scrapped railcar and given new life in our studio.

This is a rare, full-scale work—true to the size and presence seen rolling down active rail lines. At this dimension, every line, drip, and color shift carries a force that smaller reproductions simply can’t match. The impact is immediate. The detail is uncompromising.

Created during a short studio residency, the piece was executed indoors, protected from weather and interruption—allowing the artist to work deliberately, refine the composition, and complete the image exactly as intended. What you see here is the work in its purest state: bold, saturated, and freshly finished.
