Description
America was built on wood and steel.
Crossties carried the weight of locomotives. Steel rails connected cities, moved industry, and stretched across the landscape for generations. Together, they became the backbone of a nation in motion.
We took those same materials and imagined them differently.
The heavy oak crossties were brought closer together, their strength and character becoming the foundation of a bench. The vintage steel rails were carefully cut and set in line with the timber—not the way they were laid on the railroad, but the way they were meant to be experienced.
We didn’t try to make something new look old.
We started with materials that already had a story.
Using authentic, creosote-free crossties and vintage steel rail, we preserved the evidence of decades of service and gave these industrial materials a new purpose. The angle-cut rails rise like a reminder of where they came from, while the craftsmanship transforms them into something meant for a home, office, or gathering space.
We placed it on a pedestal because history deserves to be seen.
Not hidden.
Not recreated.
Preserved.
